SowGood ("we", "us") is a human development enterprise based in Hyderabad, India, founded by Rakesh Jain. This page explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the limits of the services we provide.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. If you use the enquiry form on our website, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your organisation or institution (optional)
- The area you are interested in
- Any message you write to us
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or website analytics. We do not build profiles of visitors. We do not know who you are unless you tell us.
2. Why We Collect It
We use your information for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you engage us, to deliver the services you have asked for.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties. We do not add you to a marketing list without your consent.
Every enquiry is read personally by Rakesh Jain. There is no sales team.
3. How Long We Keep It
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as is reasonably necessary to serve you, and to maintain ordinary business records. If you would like your information deleted, write to us and we will do so.
4. Your Rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data of yours we hold
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your data
- Withdraw your consent at any time
To exercise any of these, email rakesh.jain@iiml.org. We will respond within a reasonable period.
5. Confidentiality of Sessions
Our work often involves sensitive subjects — harassment, mental health, workplace conflict. We treat what is shared in our sessions as confidential, and we do not identify participants by name in any material, including on this website.
Where session photographs or recordings appear on this site, they are published with the consent of the organisation concerned, and identifying details are removed or obscured where appropriate.
This confidentiality has a limit. If we learn of a credible risk of serious harm to a person — particularly a child — we may be obliged to act on it, including under the POCSO Act.
6. Disclaimer
Not legal advice
SowGood provides advisory, training and compliance support. It is not a law firm, and nothing we provide constitutes legal advice.
Our policy drafting, POSH compliance support, Internal Committee services, audits and investigations are professional advisory services, not legal representation. We recommend that policies, formal proceedings and any matter with legal consequences are reviewed by qualified legal counsel before being relied upon.
Not a substitute for mental health care
SowGood's sessions on wellbeing, stress, burnout and emotional health are educational and preventive in nature. They are not therapy, diagnosis, or clinical treatment, and they are not a substitute for professional mental health care.
Rakesh Jain is not a licensed therapist or clinical psychologist and does not hold himself out as one. Anyone experiencing significant distress is encouraged to consult a qualified mental health professional, and we will gladly help point them toward appropriate support.
Outcomes
Cultural change depends on many factors beyond any single session or programme. While we design our work to create genuine behavioural change, we do not guarantee particular outcomes, compliance results, or the resolution of any specific situation.
7. Third-Party Content
Client names and logos shown on this site are the property of their respective owners and are displayed to indicate organisations we have worked with. Their appearance does not imply their endorsement of SowGood. If you are a rights-holder and would like a logo removed, please write to us and we will do so promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
